Bartlomiej Sieka edbed247a1 Memory footprint optimizations

As suggested by Wolfgang Denk:
- image printing functions:
  - remove wrappers
  - remove indentation prefix from functions' signatures
- merge getenv_verify and getenv_autostart into one parametrized function
