. always compile acpi, with clang, so never have
	  build/clean inconsistencies; can be enabled (i.e. run
	  at boot time) by setting acpi variable in the boot monitor
	. always strip binaries with the right strip cmd, so never
	  have ack/elf strip inconsistencies
